When are services?
We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:00. A typical service lasts just over an hour.
Where should I park?
Parking is located on the north side and on the east side of the church.
Which door do I use to come into the church?
To get to the sanctuary, come in the front doors (located on the south side of the church). You can also come in the door on the east side and go up the stairs and through the door to the foyer.
A ramp on the north side of the church also provides access directly to the sanctuary.
To get to the Fellowship Hall, come in the lower door on the west side of the church.
How can I find the Fellowship Hall, the classrooms, or the bathrooms?
Go out the sanctuary doors and take a left. Go through the door in the foyer and down the steps. The Fellowship Hall is at the bottom of the steps and through the door. The classrooms and kitchen are located in the Fellowship Hall.
To find the bathrooms, walk across the Fellowship Hall (past the kitchen) and up the stairs. The ladies' bathroom is to the left, and the men's is to the right.
What should I expect during the service?
We'll give you a bulletin that will let you know exactly what will happen during the service, making it easy for everyone to worship together.
Our service begins with a call to worship and opening prayer. Then, we participate in a responsive reading. Next, we continue our worship by taking tithes and offerings. While you are welcome to participate in the vision of the church through giving, don't feel any sense of obligation to do so. Then, we sing a few songs to worship the Lord. These songs typically are a combination of hymns and contemporary worship songs. Don't worry about knowing the words -- we show them on the overhead screen, or you can easily find them in the bulletin and/or hymnal. After the time of praise and worship, we participate in learning a new scripture to help us overcome temptation and to become more like Jesus. Next, you will hear a biblically based sermon. We also have a time for prayer requests and prayer. Finally, we end our service with a benediction.
What about Communion?
We observe Communion on the first Sunday of each month, and we invite all believers to participate with us.
We want to get to know you.
We love people and want to introduce ourselves. That's why we invite you to come downstairs to the Fellowship Hall after the service. This is a low-key way for you to ask us any questions, find out more about us, and grab a cup of coffee or tea and a small treat.
